Take a Look at the 2022 Jeep Lineup
If you're interested in an SUV, then you have a ton of options from most of the car companies out there. But if you want an SUV that can take you anywhere you can imagine, then nothing compares to a Jeep. Here at Londonderry CDJR, we're proud to be your "CDJR dealer near me," with a wide selection of Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram models available. We'll take a look at the options from our other three brands another time, but for now, we're going to focus on the vehicles offered by Jeep and what they have to offer.
The Renegade
First up in Jeep's lineup, we have the Renegade, which is a subcompact SUV and a great place to start when looking at what's available. Just like every other Jeep, this is a fantastic vehicle to take off-road, especially if you choose the Trailhawk trim. The Renegade Trailhawk features Trail-Rated 4x4 capabilities, which means it has met the highest standards set by Jeep to ensure the vehicle can tackle any trail you throw at it.
With the available Dual-Pane Panoramic Sunroof, the Renegade can be opened to the outdoors, and this makes it an absolute joy for hitting the trail or just getting around Edmonton. A 1.3L Turbo engine is now standard on all models, giving you excellent power and fuel efficiency, as well as up to 907 kg of towing with the available Trailer Tow Group. The interior of the Renegade features a standard full-colour 18 cm digital cluster display, along with a 21 cm infotainment display. Starting at just $33,095, the Renegade is a great choice if you're looking to get the most from your vehicle.[a]
The Compass
For 2022, the Jeep Compass has been redesigned for a sleek and powerful look and updated inside to give you fantastic technology and luxury features. Just like with the Renegade, the Compass Trailhawk trim is where you want to start if you're interested in doing some serious off-roading, thanks to Jeep's Active Drive Low 4x4 System. Combined this with skid plates to protect the transmission, fuel tank, and underbody, along with the Selec-Terrain Traction Management System with numerous modes for conquering the trail, and you have a fantastic off-road SUV.
A 2.4L Tigershark I-4 engine comes standard on the Compass and is paired with either a six-speed or nine-speed automatic transmission. Inside the updated 2022 Jeep Compass, you'll find next-generation Uconnect 5 infotainment technology that's faster than ever before and easier to use. There's an available 26 cm full-colour Driver Information Display that you can customize to show vehicle speed, navigation information, outside temperature, and more. A 21 cm touchscreen infotainment display is now standard, with a 26 cm screen available. The 2022 Compass starts at $29,195 and is a fantastic small SUV.[a]
The Cherokee
If you're looking for something a bit larger than the Renegade and Compass, without getting too large, then the compact Jeep Cherokee is a great choice. This is one of our favourite options in the Jeep lineup because it works so well for many of our customers, making it a great place to start if you're unsure of exactly what you need in your next vehicle. Three different engines are available on the Cherokee, so you can pick the right level of power and performance for what you need, including a 2.0L Turbo and a 3.2L Pentastar V6. No matter which engine you choose, however, the Cherokee comes with a nine-speed automatic transmission for you to enjoy.
Inside the Cherokee, you'll find a fantastic combination of advanced technology and plenty of space for passengers and cargo alike. A 21 cm infotainment display comes standard in all models, with an 18 cm full-colour customizable driver display available with real-time data that's easy to keep an eye on. You get up to tons of interior cargo volume with the Cherokee, plus two rows of seating to keep everyone comfortable. Starting at just $36,445 MSRP, the Cherokee is a great value and a terrific choice for families.[a]
The Grand Cherokee
For something bigger still than the Cherokee, the Jeep Grand Cherokee is a midsize SUV that's perfect for families or anyone with an adventurous spirit. Every Grand Cherokee comes with fantastic off-road performance thanks to standard 4x4 capability, and three different 4x4 systems are available so you can choose the level of functionality you need. While a 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine is standard, a 5.7L V8 engine is available if you're looking for even more robust power. A Grand Cherokee 4xe model is also available, featuring a plug-in hybrid engine for fantastic fuel efficiency and 42 km of all-electric range.
Much like the updated Jeep Compass, the Grand Cherokee features the new Uconnect 5 system with enhanced processor speed and superior performance. A 21 cm Infotainment display is standard on the Grand Cherokee, with a 26 cm screen available if you prefer a larger option. Most exciting of all, an innovative 25 cm Passenger Screen is available for the front passenger, which can be used for navigation, entertainment, and more. The standard Grand Cherokee starts at $52,045 MSRP and comes with two rows of seating, while the Grand Cherokee L model features three rows of seatings.[a]
The Wrangler
The spiritual successor to the original Jeep that can be traced back all the way to World War II, the Wrangler is everything you could want in an off-road SUV. There are more than a dozen trims and models available for the Wrangler, so you have a ton of freedom to get exactly what you need in your vehicle. This includes four engine options, including a 2.0L Turbo, a 3.6L Pentastar V6 with eTorque, and a 3.0L EcoDiesel V6, so you can get the kind of performance you prefer. To take things to the next level, check out the all-new Wrangler Rubicon 392, which features an incredible 6.4L HEMI V8 engine.
The Jeep Wrangler is an off-roading dream with 76 cm of water fording capability and suspension articulation that lets you crawl over even the roughest obstacles. The Wrangler Rubicon is the way to go if you want unbeatable outdoor functionality with Jeep's Rock-Trac 4x4 system, Dana 44 heavy-duty axles, and available 35-inch tires on beadlock-capable wheels. Starting at $38,445 MSRP, the Wrangler is a remarkable off-road vehicle, and a plug-in hybrid Wrangler 4xe option is also available.[a]
The Gladiator
While most Jeep models are SUVs, there's one exciting exception to the rule: the Jeep Gladiator is a midsize pickup truck designed with all of the off-road capability and Jeep style you'd expect. A 3.6L Pentastar V6 engine is standard, along with a six-speed manual transmission, while an available 3.0L EcoDiesel V6 engine provides you with exceptional power and efficiency. With the standard engine, the Gladiator gets best-in-class gas towing of up to 3,470 kg and up to 771 kg of payload capacity, letting you take everything you need with you whether you're getting some work done or hitting the trail.
Inside the Gladiator, you'll find an available 21 cm infotainment display, along with an available 18 cm full-colour Driver Information Digital Cluster Display that you can customize to best meet your needs. The Gladiator also has some of our favourite features among Jeep exteriors, including a soft-top roof, fold-down front windshield, and available half doors to really let you enjoy your time outside. With this in mind, there's also an available, detachable waterproof Bluetooth speaker that recharges while you drive and lets you listen to your favourite music, podcast, or whatever else you like wherever you want.
