The 2012 Chrysler 300 comes on strong with two new models: The 300S (V6 and V8) and 300 SRT8® - each bringing its own distinct style to the
300 lineup. 300S offers a youthful, aggressive appearance with an athletic flair luring a younger, yet still sophisticated audience. The 300 SRT8® is a
performance enthusiast's dream come true with a 6.4L HE MI® V8 engine featuring FuelSaver MDS Technology. This throaty V8 delivers 40+ hp more than the 6.1L engine it replaces with 470 hp and 470 lb-ft of torque. Want even more for your muscle? Official estimates are 0-100 in the high foursecond range and a less than 13-second 400 metres (quarter-mile).

For the more tame at heart, 2012 Chrysler 300 models equipped with the Pentastar® V6 engine offer a new available 8-speed automatic transmission usually only found on vehicles in a much higher price category. This new transmission delivers a fuel-efficient ride without losing its sporty edge and optimal shift quality, obtained through its three-path converter.

Last, but certainly not least, the 300 continues to evolve with a bevy of new aesthetic interior and exterior enhancements while keeping its over 75
standard safety features perfectly intact.
