2018 Dodge Demon is Straight Demonic
The Chrysler Fiat-owned brand explains the upcoming model will raise the bar even higher in terms of power & speed. Nothing is official yet, but we’re led to believe it will carry more power than the 707-horsepower Hellcat. The 2018 Dodge Demon could also use a high-performance version of the new Challenger GT‘s AWD system to transfer its power to the asphalt, though this is still idle speculation. Regardless, the fire-breathing V8 engine will shift through an automatic transmission.
2017 New York Motor Show will have Demons
To build up excitement for the model, Dodge has launched a miniseries of short teaser videos that will be published on a new website named If You Know, You Know. While the first video revealed virtually nothing in the way of meaningful details, the subsequent installments have provided more tangible details. Notably, the Demon weighs over 200 pounds less than the Hellcat, which tips the scale at nearly 4,500 pounds.
